The Audacity of Our Advocacy

Keri Gray is a cancer survivor, entrepreneur, speaker, and facilitator. At 8 years old Keri was diagnosed with bone cancer, and after treatment she began walking with a prosthetic limb and experiencing hearing loss. As a person of color, you may be one of the few people who looks like you in the workplace. Add on your lived experience as a disabled person, and it becomes even more likely that you’re the “only one.” This presentation acknowledges that people of color with disabilities deserve to be here. We deserve to take up space. Whether at work, at school, or in our communities, we’re worthy of belonging.
