Errol Shaw, Sr was shot at his home twenty seconds after police arrived based on a false report. Errol was deaf and holding a rake, this was seen as a threat and he was killed in front of his family and neighbors who were yelling at the police that he was deaf. He loved to cook and was well known in his neighborhood where he did yard work to make a living.

Powerful black arm raised defiantly into the air, the hand curled into a fist, rising into the middle on the graphic. Designed into the arm, almost like a tattoo, is an infinity/unity symbol and the words “Black Disabled Lives Matter”.
