Age 25, Los Angeles, CA.

Ezell was the oldest of seven children and he loved playing basketball. He had depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. He was shot by police while he was walking near his South Los Angeles home in 2014, a neighborhood where he was well known and loved.

Powerful black arm raised defiantly into the air, the hand curled into a fist, rising into the middle on the graphic. Designed into the arm, almost like a tattoo, is an infinity/unity symbol and the words “Black Disabled Lives Matter”.
