Age 17, Chicago, IL. Laquan was a high school student working in the Youth Advocate Program, was described by teachers as being ‘respectful and reserved’, excelled in classes such as personal finance and music, and also had PTSD. He was killed by police while walking down the street.

Powerful black arm raised defiantly into the air, the hand curled into a fist, rising into the middle on the graphic. Designed into the arm, almost like a tattoo, is an infinity/unity symbol and the words “Black Disabled Lives Matter”.
