Quintonio LeGrier

Quintonio was an engineering major at Northern Illinois University with a mental health condition. His classmates knew him as a motivational student, and said that he was “destined for greatness.” Quintonio was killed by police outside his father’s apartment during a dispute mediation.

Powerful black arm raised defiantly into the air, the hand curled into a fist, rising into the middle on the graphic. Designed into the arm, almost like a tattoo, is an infinity/unity symbol and the words “Black Disabled Lives Matter”.
