Willie was killed on June 2, 2016, by police in his home after police had been called regarding an argument. Willie was known as “Meat-Meat” by his friends and family. Willie was kind and always willing to help those who needed it. He worked in roofing for 20 years. Willie left 7 children and several grandchildren behind.

Powerful black arm raised defiantly into the air, the hand curled into a fist, rising into the middle on the graphic. Designed into the arm, almost like a tattoo, is an infinity/unity symbol and the words “Black Disabled Lives Matter”.
